Free, no catch. Every Tulum People Club group costs nothing to join. Your number isn't sold, the chat isn't spammed, and there are no ads inside the groups.

Can I join more than one group?

Go for it. Members regularly stack two or three groups — a cenote swimmer who also cooks with Eco Foodies and closes out weekends with Beach Club Social is completely normal here.

What's the group size? Won't it be spammy?

Every group is capped near 250 and watched by a moderator who removes promo posts, crypto spam, and anything off-topic. It stays readable instead of turning into noise.

I'm only in Tulum for 5 days. Worth joining?

That's the exact reason Tourists - 10 Days exists. Expect a welcome dinner within your first two days, a shuttle-share from Cancún, and real answers on where to actually go instead of guessing from a blog.

I don't have WhatsApp. Another option?

Almost everything here — cenote bookings, bike rentals, even the doctor — runs through WhatsApp, so it's worth having for your trip regardless. No way around it? Message us through the contact page and we'll find a workaround.

Are these groups safe? Vetted?

New members send a quick intro first — a photo, first name, hometown, which group — before joining. Anyone reported for scams or harassment gets removed. This is residents and travelers looking out for each other, not a listings page.

This is a newer addition, run by the same small team already moderating sister communities in other cities, now doing it for Tulum. No company, no investors — just people who think nobody should be figuring out a new place solo.
